Justin Hooper Scouting Report:

Justin Hooper is a tall lefty (6’7″) who’s velocity spiked his junior year at High School to 93-95mph. He is a guy who shows great promise for two pitches but needs to improve his command. He’ll have plenty of time. His mechanics are clean but because of the arm angle and size his control can get shaky at times. Hie fastball and curve balls are his best pitches and he offers and improving changeup. He comes from a prestigious program on Concord that has produced the likes of MJD, running back in the NFL and the NBA’s Brent Barry. He has a commitment to UCLA joining several other MLB Draft prospects expected to go in the first round.

Fastball: 70 | Curveball: 50 | Changeup: 50 | Control: 45 | Overall: 55
