Kyle Funkhouser Scouting Report: Kyle Funkhouser finished the 2014 campaign with a NCAA D1 high of 13 wins and help led Louisville to it’s second straight College World Series appearance. Funkhouser has three solid pitches beginning with his 92-94 fastball. His slider and changeup are inconsistent but show the makings of quality pitches. He has a good build and should stay as a start as he progresses through the Minors. His control and command are the areas where we see the most improvement needed. Kyle Funkhouser was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers with the 35th overall selection in the 2015 MLB Draft. Funkhouser opted not to sign with the Dodgers and return to Louisville for his senior season.
