Baltimore Orioles Farm System The O’s farm system has three right handers that should anchor the rotation for years to come. Dylan Bundy, Kevin Gausman and Hunter Harvey. Bundy should be back this year following a Tommy John surgery and a strained lat muscle. Gausman made 20 starts in the bigs last year and finished the season with a 3.57 era. Harvey was the O’s third pitcher selected in the first round in the past three years, all of them have been stellar selections. His fastball sits at 92-94 range and jumps on hitters and a plus curve that keeps hitters honest (and makes them look foolish). With two plus pitchers that he can throw in any count and his third should be a MLB average he has the makings of a quality starter and an absolute steal at the 22nd pick in the draft. Harvey went 7-5 with a 3.18ERA and 106K’s in 87.2IP over 17 starts. He will more than likely head to High-A to begin the 2015 campaign and may end up in Triple-A by the end of the season. Harvey and Bundy really push their system to #16 on our list after these guys it’s a pretty steep drop in talent.
